    Frequently asked questions

I like to get to know where a student is in their practice currently, and where they would like to progress. From there it's just a matter of time and a few deep breaths and we're on our way.

I have a toga practice spanning a decade and many hours training in hands-on assists through yoga studios in the Sacramento area. I am certified through Yoga Alliance to teach vinyasa flow, hatha, restorative, and yin yogas.

My practice had been growing for about 7 years before I ompleted my first 200YTT. Before that point I had been a hands-on assistant in a number of studios around Sacramento. I've run assisting and massage workshops, and have had a number of years training personally in the Mysore Ashtanga style.

I have worked with a wide variety of students ranging from absolute beginner to intermediate practicioner. I have regular classes at many local studios with which I get to lead studio yogis through creative flows as well as Hatha and yin classes. I also have a few personal students with whom I get to dive deeper into the Ashtanga vinyasa series.

    Pick me! Ha :)

Look for someone who truly gels with your energy and purpose for practicing, someone that you can FEEL knows the practice in a way that you would like to know better. Everyone has a different take on a yoga practice and something valuable to contribute - look for someone who you are inspired by.

Where am I in my practice relative to where I would like to progress? What am I attracted to in my practice? What do I feel aversion to in my practice? What styles of yoga am I drawn to?
