SM Yoga Sessions
About
I have trained in two 200-hour teacher trainings to teach vinyasa, hatha, restorative, and yin, and my personal practice is in ashtanga vinyasa yoga, so I am capable of providing unique and mixed-style yoga instruction tailored to my student's particular needs. I additionally have a Thai massage certification and I have provided hands-on adjustments in vinyasa classes for several years, so I offer touch as a teaching modality and as an aid for relaxation. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Biology, and I use my knowledge of anatomy and physiology as a teacher to provide a well-balanced and safe set of yoga postures.
Yoga has changed and shaped my life, and I love to share it with the hope that it will help do the same for others. My favorite parts of teaching are witnessing the growth in a student's physical and spiritual growth over time and tapping into the creative process I undergo to design my classes and playlists.
