My services are unique in that I have experience over a wide range of relevant topics.  I have practiced Hatha yoga since 1992 and was certified to teach Kundinyasa last summer (2018).  Kundinyasa is a dual certification in Kundalini and Ashtanga yoga.  For those that are not familiar with Kundalini yoga, it involves much meditation and what are called kriyas.  Ashtanga is a form of Hatha Vinyasa that involves a specific set of poses.

Additionally, I have been a professional Intuitive Healer since 1997.  I have taught Reiki and other classes in 6 different states.  I am a Reiki Master, I.A.M. Facilitator, Way of the Heart Practitioner, doTerra Wellness Advocate and Australian Bush Flower Essence practitioner.  I also utilize muscle testing to communicate with your system to discern the best techniques appropriate for you at any time.  Through this practice I can create classes and meditations that are tailored to your unique physique and mental/emotional/spiritual constitution.

It is an honor and joy to be of service in helping others relieve dis-ease in their body and mental/emotional/spiritual spheres.  I love seeing someone find release and feel the remembered joy of freedom of movement as well as the centering and presence that can come with conscious practice!

FAQs


What is your typical process for working with a new student?

On first introduction, I will have the student fill out a brief questionaire detailing their interests.  Depending on whether they are interested in yoga, meditation, or healing, I will tailor the meeting appropriately.  For yoga, I will ask them some direct questions about their physical state including any injuries or hardships and watch them walk before tailoring the appropriate class.  For meditation, I will consider their style interests and utilize muscle testing to choose from a list of meditation styles and meditations/kriyas.  For healing, I will utilize muscle testing to cover a wide range of techniques and continue the session until their system indicates it is finished.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am dual certified in Kundalini and Ashtanga yoga blended into a technique called Kundinyasa.  I can teach each style separately.  I have been practicing yoga since 1992.  I am also an Intuitive Healer with multiple certifications including Reiki Master, I.A.M. Facilitator, Way of the Heart Practitioner and Australian Bush Flower Practitioner.  I am also a doTerra Wellness Advocate utilizing aromatherapy in practice.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My pricing varies depending on if I am travelling to the student or if they are coming to my home office.  I am not currently affiliated with a studio.  There may also be a flat mileage additional charge for distances over 15miles.  My prices will always be a flat fee and not time based but with maximum time limits.


How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching healing in 1997 after many years of study.  I am passionate about alternative health modalities because they helped me tremendously with lifelong sinus and weak immunity problems.  Once I finished Reiki and I.A.M. training, I almost never become sick - maybe once every couple of years.  Healing coupled with regular yoga and meditation all work to keep the body/mind/spirit in balance.  I wanted others to have the same benefits and thus began teaching.


What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with people ranging in age from their late teens to early 80s and everywhere in-between in healing and meditation.  I am new to yoga teaching, although I have incorporated suggestions of specific yogic practices when asked over the years by healing students and clients.
