What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Find out their goals and their level of dedication to reach those goals. Create a practice that is right for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with Andrey Lappa and became certified in Universal Free Style Yoga. I have also taken Vinyasa Flow training with Mark Stephens and studied Shadow Yoga as well.
I am a certified TRE (trauma release) provider and practice Thai Yoga Massage as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a degree in fashion design which led me to start a business making workout clothes. Along the way I beagn to practice yoga and eventually began to teach it.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've pretty much worked with all kinds of people. Young , old new to yoga as well as experienced.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Having a great outdoor dinner after a covid safe class on a warm eveing.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that you click with and them stick with them.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want from yoga? Can I become more flexible? Is yoga for me? I'm not in shape, will yoga be too hard for me?
How often will I need to do it to see results?
