About
I help clients and students to have ease and freedom in their body so they can do the things they love once again.
I help clients and students to feel calm, centered and to enjoy the flow of life and learn to ride the rough waves when they come up.
I help people break free of limiting beliefs into joy, freedom and purpose.
What I love about this work is the mutual partnership that I enter into with my client. Yoga sees each being as already whole and complete. My intention is to create a safe space for bodies to come back into balance, for minds to find steadiness and calm and for inner awareness to expand. It is humbling and beautiful to witness the journey of my clients and for this I have deep gratitude.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In an initial phone consultation, we discuss what is going on with you and what you're needs are. If it seems that we are a match, then we determine what package would be best for you. Private clients would fill out an intake form. We then schedule your first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 years experience of teaching yoga, meditation, breathwork and transformational yoga lifestyle coaching.
I am a certified IAYT (International Association of Yoga Therapists) approved yoga therapist.
I am a certified senior teacher and teacher trainer in TriYoga International.
I also hold Certifications in Y12SR , Yoga of Recovery, and Sivananada Yoga.
I hold a BFA in Dance from Temple University
How did you get started teaching?
Really, I started on the yoga path as a child! Then later as an adult I re-discovered yoga and experienced the inner peace and presence that came with the practice. Suffering from an anxiety disorder from growing up in a chaotic home and with an ACE (Adverse Childhood Experience) score of 5, I've found the practices of yoga which include postures, meditation, mantra, mudra, philosophy and diet to be absolutely essential in maintaining balance, equlibrium and a healthy lifestyle.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students recovering from illness and injury, students suffering from PTSD, chronic fatigue, guillain barre syndrome, cancer, addiction, stress, anxiety, depression, stiff, tight, achy bodies, anxious minds, those wanting inner peace contentment and freedom.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Congratulations for following your inner guidance and opening up to explore how yoga may be helpful for you in your life! It's important to understand that yoga is not just postures! Of course if one wants more physical flexibility, strength, balance, and a strengthened immune system, yoga can give that and if one wants a calm and peaceful mind, yoga can give that too, but if one truly wants to breakfree and have joy, freedom and purpose, yoga can give that as well!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) What's going on in your body? Are you able (physically) to enjoy the things that you love to do? Hiking, biking, swimming, playing with kids or grandkids?
2) What's going on in your mind? Are you stressed? Worried, Anxious, Fearful. How does that limit your ability to live your life?
3) Do you feel an inner sense of fulfillment, peace and contentment? Or is there a sense that something is missing?
