Greetings! Welcome to my space of divinely inspired love. My goal as an instructor is to ensure that I build relationships with each of my students in order to meet the unique needs of their practice. Yoga is beneficial to everyone regardless of age, race, body type, or gender. One of the common misconceptions is that you have to be flexible to practice yoga-I can tell you from my own personal yoga journey that this is false. Yoga from the Sanskrit word Yuj means "to yoke," which can be interpretated as the act of uniting. I aim to unite communities through the transformative qualities of yoga-by unifying communities, and cultivating the relationship between self, spirit, and soul. My goal is to create and share accessible spaces where our differences can be represented, all while feeling included, safe, and receiveing a meaningful yoga practice. Yoga provides a ton of physical benefits that include weight reduction, increase in energy, flexibility, muscle strength, cardiovascular and circulatory health. While my goal as an instructor is to encourage healthy bodies, my yoga classes are much more than a physical practice. My yoga classes contribute to an increase in confidence and motivation while you challenge yourself mentally and physically. My students are asked to continuously focus on breathe in order to clear the mind of thoughts that are not self serving, and tune into the needs of your body, mind, and soul. This is your time for self-care-each day you show up to your mat is different, but showing up alone is proof that you are intentional about restoring and maintaining a internal holistic balance. Ultimately I seek to offer a space where you can let go, have fun, and enter each time with an open mind. Namaste!
