About
Hi! I’m Mandy. Recently located to Orlando, I'm excited to build a routine client base. For the past 3 years I've lived and worked in Central America as a Yoga and Wellness Director at both Aqua Wellness Luxury, and Malibu Popoyo in beautiful Nicaragua. My teahing style is varies as it is dependent upon the student. I have over 2000+ teaching hours, have hosted various retreats, and love working with students one on one. My goal is to always help you deepen your knowledge of postures, connect the mind and body through dynamic breath and heighten your awareness overall.
I never intentially sought out to be a yoga teacher. However, after a spinal injury and TBI in 2013 my road if recovery gifted me with this life-changing opportunity to share yoga medicine. It’s a surprise dream come true! I love my job. I love my students. And I love sharing yoga.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I tailor a class to the student's specific needs and wants. Yoga encompasses so much. Having a discussion before the first lesson sets us both up for success and allows me to plan a practice with the appropriate content for each aspiring yogi.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied and trained for over 9 years before I became a teacher. I began my training as an Iyengar student. I have since training in Vinyassa, Acro, Restortive, and Aerial. Iyengar remains at the core of my practice as I believe alignment is key, however my classes extend outside of the traditional Iyengar teaching style.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I'm happy to work with people on pricing. I think yoga should be accessible for everyone. Price will vary depending on drive time, and quantity of lessons desired priot to purchase. Of course we can reevaluate after class.
How did you get started teaching?
I was invited to Iyengar teacher training. Another yogi mom of mine (at the same time), suggested I begin teaching. The opportunity of teaching yoga just came to me and I said yes!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Children to the elderly. Lots of newbies!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Come eager.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your goals? What would you like to gain out of a private session of yoga together? How long do you want to practice? What do you want from your practice?
