Yoga Teacher
About
I have been practicing yoga for the past 15 years - in late 2017 I decided to make it a career! I have 2 yoga teacher certifications...most recently studying in an Ashram in Guatemala for 5 weeks. My style of yoga is not going to replace your cardio workout. I incorporate movement/meditation/breath work into your yoga practice...which will be designed specifically for you! I would love to work with beginners, those that have been recommended to yoga or meditation, or those that think they can't do yoga due to injuries...I've been there and you can!!
i love sharing yoga with people...it's been such a life changer for me! Yoga to me is a state of being...a process of going inward to connect with self. Above the physical benefits it's brought me more in tune with my physical self as well as my spirit...pretty incredible! I teach yoga and meditation both on and OFF the mat. I would love to be part of similar journeys for those out there exploring!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students will come to my home yoga/meditation studio. It is designed for private lessons for 1-2 people. The first meeting will be a "get to know you" session...I will need to get an understanding of what is trying to be accomplished - then we will put a plan in place!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
200 YTT in Hatha - Sacred Geometry
200 YTT in Hatha - Classical
Certified in Chakra Therapeutics
studies in both Ayervedic practices as well as meditation
How did you get started teaching?
I started by just casually teaching friends as I learned...and then they told me I needed to make it my business. I have passion for it! I have taught small groups and teach at a few companies. My preference is private lessons - for 1 to 2 people. You can get much deeper than group classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
Office workers, anxiety, asthma, injuries, overall trying to find balance in life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that is passionate (and compassionate!) in the type of yoga you are looking for. For instance - yoga for me is much more than the physical piece...it's mental and spiritual as well. I want to work with people that are looking for calmness and peace from yoga - not just physical exercise.
