What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first do an assessment of the new student skill level. Then I customize my training to the student skill level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have being boxing for over 10 years, also I have competed in different competitions.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching because I realized that I had a passion for teaching. Also because of my love for boxing and martial arts. teaching gives me a way to share my passion with people.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all different ages and backgrounds.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The most recent event that comes to mind, is seeing a student I have being training make progress and reach their goals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
i would say do their research on the teacher.
know exactly what their are trying to achieve, it could be weight loss, staying fit, learning a new skill. What ever the reason make sure you let the teacher know your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
think about what they what from the training.
