Tatyana Vinnikova 's Golden Light Studio is a wonderful escape from the "real world" into the world of mind, body and spirit. No matter what level of yoga, she will make you feel comfortable. Her experience and love for her art of yoga is awe-inspiring. I have been a long- time, devoted student for 13 years and look forward to many more. Marilyn P

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I learn, what my new student goals and needs are, the student’s ability to stretch, to move, to balance, and to pay attention.

Then we go through movements and stretches, which would satisfy our goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I received my yoga teacher training, and advanced yoga teacher training at Kripalu center for yoga and health in Lenox in 1991 and1992.

I also received Rebirthing breath work  and Spiritual purification Training  with Leonard Orr.

Multiple workshop training on Aurveda, massage, meditation, yoga.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Private class $60.00 per hour.

Drop in class $17 in group yoga classes,

Yoga session 6 classes $90 per session.

How did you get started teaching?

After I got my Yoga teacher training certificate I started to teach yoga at Needham YMCA and Gold’s Gym in Needham.  I was also teaching yoga at lunchtime at Digital, where I worked at that time as a software engineer. I was teaching there for 20 years at YMCA and Gold’s Gym.

Now I teach only in my own studio at my home.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have all range of students from very yang to over the 70 years old; from extremely flexible to very challenging in flexibility, I also work with people with physical disabilities.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I recreated my Restorative yoga workshop.  Students get a lot of praises for it.  Enjoying deep release of stress, and major unwinding during stressful holiday times.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

To try yoga class and see if the style of yoga and the style of teaching give you good experience, feels comfortable.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do I want to achieve with yoga practice, what are my health concerns I should discuss with teacher.  What level I should try to sign in.
