I have over 1,800 hours of education and have traveled both internationally and nationally teaching yoga to all levels/ages within various communities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initial meeting is an assessment of what the client needs, and a path to get there (30 min). We will proceed with Yoga/Meditation for the rest of the designated time. I do provide lessons to work on until we meet again.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
500 RYT, Certified in various styles of Hatha Yoga: Anusara, Vinyasa, Viniyoga, Pre and Post Natal, Kids Yoga, Mommy and Me.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$100/hr 1:1 work
$125/hr for a group rate of 2 persons
$135/hr for 3 persons, and then $20/pp for each additional student
How did you get started teaching?
I was a competitive Division I Cheerleader and Instructor faced with multiple injuries after I completed college. I discovered yoga after searching for new modalities for physical and mental fitness.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of students from ages 0-85 focusing on meditation, asana and philosophy. I am experienced working in private and corporate settings instructing all levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching at the Lake during the summer months is always a beautiful experience. I have also taught for my Alma Mater, UCONN at various events and meetings.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have a conversation with the teacher to understand if you both resonate with each other. I find that this is key to a fruitful relationship and teacher/student dynamic.
