About
My mission in teaching Yoga and Meditation Classes is to make it more accessible. These practices are for everyone. It is a priority to create modifications or adjust the type of practice to support the student fully. Any limitation(s) a student may have I’m able to sculpt the class to ensure their well-being. My classes are adaptable.
What I enjoy most about the work I do with teaching yoga and meditation is seeing the well-being that blossoms from the practices. At first when the seeds of yoga are planted the student essentially begins the process of waking up. Over time as the practice expands there are great physical and mental benefits. I enjoy when the student gains an Ah-Ha moment! They often realize new truths and perspectives start shifting towards being more present as well as empowered. The work through these practices peels back layers of past conditioning, allowing the student to connect to the core of who they really are.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teaching a new student allows me to create a personalized practice based off of the needs and energy of my student. I keep open communication before the class. It is important to ask questions like, if they have any injuries? If they have done yoga before? What they are hoping to gain for the practice? I encourage the new student to ask questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my 200 hour International Yoga Teaching Certification through Yoga Alliance. I have three years teaching experience at different Wellness Studios and teaching privately. I am able to teach many different styles of yoga. My specialities are Vinyasa or flow yoga, Restorative yoga, Ashtanga yoga, and Tantra yoga.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically if I am traveling to the students home or office to teach privately for an hour an a half I charge $50. If that is too much for the student I have openly negotiated the price down to $40 a session.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching in 2015 after I discovered it as a path toward healing. Yoga allowed me to finally see that my home is not an external environment but within my own body. Instead of viewing the body as an image to perfect my perspective has changed to view it as a sacred tool for internal growth and discovery. I was motivated to teach by my goals to help myself and others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have years of experience teaching yoga to all ages as well as students with various medical conditions. I have taught students with arthritis, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety as well as addiction. I have also taught a pregnant woman. Yoga can be a lifelong, beneficial practice for anyone. I believe that no matter what challenges an individual may face physically or mentally that this practice is a bridge toward wellbeing and overall happiness.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
As I was leading a group of students through a guided meditation at the end of class I realized one of the students fell asleep and started snoring. It is the biggest compliment for this to happen because it means that the student is fully relaxed after the physical practice. After the class the student said my voice sounded like calm ocean waves.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions! If you keep searching things will keep unfolding with learning. Every question has its purpose.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think through their own schedule and when they are available for class.
