About
Hello! I'm a Kundalini Yoga Instructor/Stretching facilitator/meditation teacher and my husband plays sound healing gongs and bowls
We offer Gong Immersions, Kundalini Yoga, Yin Yoga and Qi Gong practice. We are located in the University District near the University of Detroit. The studio is on the third floor of our home. We are KRI certified and are open 7 days a week. See our website at kundaliniyogadetroit.com
I tailor private classes to meet the physical and psychological needs of the student. I can accommodate up to 5 people in the space at one time to assure 6 feet of space per person. You decide what your private class will look and feel like. Let's get you out of pain and into joy.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I listen to the person for 15-20 mins to find out a bit about their past and present. We chat about my understanding and then about a plan for the future and how yoga and meditation can help them get there. I ask about their music preferences and their limitations. Then I develop a class that lasts an hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Three trainings in Kundalini Yoga (I'm 500 RYT) and one in Yin Yoga. I've been doing yoga daily (exception Pandemic -- never again!) since 2011. I'm a former psychologist.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Sliding scale. I charge what is affordable for the student.
How did you get started teaching?
After 7 years of daily practice a Kundalini Yoga teacher training popped up in Ann Arbor. Both my husband and I took the year long training 2016-2017.
What types of students have you worked with?
From middle school girls to high school athletes to middle aged men and women to 85-year olds.
This yoga works really well for the over 30 year olds.
