About

I am a Certied Personal Trainer, Martial Arts Coach and Sports Conditioning and Strength Trainer. I have a great focus on building athletic bodies in all age ranges and love to take on new challenges with my clients. Easy to get along with and good with most populations, including the disabled or just deconditioned. My goal is to become the number one sports trainer in the Triangle!

I will be creating a Facebook for Andrew Carter as well as share my social media as I begin to grow. Starting from the ground up!

Though I have been training for 20+ years and it is simply my favorite thing to watch athletes develop!

Certified PT, Nutritionist, ISSA Certified Elite Trainer and NASM MMA Conditioning Coach.

I had my first session with Wes, and it was a great experience. He’s kind, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about training. I felt comfortable and confident in his expertise as someone with no prior fitness or martial arts experience. The location felt safe, and it was clear that other clients respected him, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. He explained everything clearly and always left room for questions. I appreciate how client-focused and goal-oriented the session was, with a clear plan for progress. I’m excited to continue training with Wes!

Frequently asked questions

My typical process is to spend time with the client to figure out what we want to accomplish and then get right to work. If there is a parent involved, we tend to talk about lifestyle changes that could be made in the home to best assist their child to be successful. Then we build from there.

I have been Certified for NASM, ISSA and Precision certifications as well as CPR.

My pricing is based on a 2 or 3 visit per week schedule to best moderate progress and learn new stuff, but also to build consistency. Price is reflected by the frequency, though there is only a 60 difference between 2 and 3 times per week. Typically that is paid to my place of business or paid directly depending on the situations.

I got my start years ago in my backyard, but over time I studied different sports and martial arts, and then developed a love for anatomy and kinesiology. I became a professional personal trainer in 2008 working at Gold's Gym.

I have worked with all populations from world champions to wheel chair bound warriors. Kids of most ages (typically over 6) and adults. I even have a host of senior citizens I've trained.

Training a good friend of mine who was able to lose 130 pounds over the course of 8 months.

Always make sure you can verify what they are teaching you, and when it comes to personal training and in person coaching, there usually is a feel for it, like any other relationship!

What is the best way to know that I am going in the right direction/ Is there a question I could be asking?
