FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I usually like to get a good understanding of why the student wants to do yoga and what their end goals and expectations are (ei. anxiety, flexibility, balance, stability, mental calmness, etc). I also like to get to know if they have physical or emotional limitations and what their availibility is like.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an internationally certified 200RYT yoga instructor from Sonic Yoga and Yoga Alliance. I also have my 60+ hours in Trauma yoga, which basically is a special training if your working and teaching people like veterans who have ptsd, sex trafficking victims, and so on. I also have expereince teaching yoga to kids  (toddlers to adults). I also have 30+ hours of advanced training in meditation.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching 5 years ago when I took a gap year from college and found myself through my personal yoga practice.
