The Center for Nia & Yoga is an urban oasis in the heart of downtown Albany. The studio is housed in a beautiful old 4 story building. The studio is the northeast training Center for Nia an eclectic expressive fitness fusion program. It also offers rotating specialty movement and yoga classes.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The Center for Nia & Yoga offers Nia (fitness fusion of dance, martial arts and Yoga) Yoga: basic, flow and restorative. Plus belly dancing and other alternative dance forms. New to the Center intro pass is any 3 classes for $20! Drop-in $20
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered Nurse. Nia teacher/ Nia trainer. CYT yoga trained and certified in expressive arts.

How did you get started teaching?
After working as a nurse and running marathons I found Nia and loved the blend of athletic gracefulness and knew other would want it too. Yoga provided stretch and relaxation I need and want to share.
