In teaching yoga I value changing the shape of the mind over the body and encourage my students to practice looking inward.
With that in mind the postures are a great vehicle for attaining awareness and many poses are difficult without the help of adjustments. I give my students lots of assists so they may go deeper into the poses safely.
Qualifications:
- RYT 200 hrs in Kovalam India
- 2 years of teaching led classes (vinyasa, hatha & chair)
- My own personal practice has been about 15 years

Every person’s body tells a story. A lot of people come to yoga because they feel pain or stress and these physical symptoms give away a lot at buried emotions.

I work in the city, but like to take classes on the weekends at my apartment in Brooklyn too. When she comes she does an amazing job transforming my place into a yoga studio for an hour. And it’s great because I can nap after.
Side note the studio in Chinatown is beautiful. It doubles as an art studio so it’s a really cool vibe.
