About this pro

Yoga practitioner certified  with extensive experience in different styles of yoga such as ashtanga, hatha yoga, inbound yoga, vinyasa yoga, kundalini yoga.

Philosopher with academic options in Literature and Anthropology of the University of the Andes with relevant knowledge in Eastern Philosophy. Extensive knowledge invegan and crudivora nutrition related to high performance sport. I conceive of yoga as a system that goes beyond physical practice. An emotional, spiritual and physical therapy through the body as a tool as a sacred technology. From the yogic perspective, the body is a necessary tool to achieve certain objectives: mental, spiritual, physical health, everything depends on the individual process of students. My classes focus on a personalized and direct work with each student, taking into account their individual processes and objectives.

I have been yoga teacher for several years. I finished an INBOUND yoga studies at the Vaishnava Academy in Bogota in 2015. Later I studied at Casita Home with Diego Bernal and Zarah Kravitz who follow the tradition of Dharma Mittra, a recognized yogi, who imparts his knowledge to thousands of people around the world. And headquartered in New York. Later I did a Kundalini Yoga teacher's course in Happy Yoga.

During all these years I have practiced and deepened in different styles of yoga, namely, Kundalini, Hatha, vinyasa and astanga yoga. This last practice I learned with Amy Lovejoy professor of U.S. and with Carmen Burbano of Ecuador who transmits its tradition since finishing its certification in ashtanga vinyasa yoga in India. For the rest, I have attended several seminars, practices with teachers and yogis recognized worldwide.

I have complemented my yoga practice with different sports such as: Gymnastics, circus (in Goto Cirko and Gravity Zero), athletics, indoor cycling and weight lifting. Which I learned and practiced at the University of the Andes where I was a member of the Uniandes Fitness Group. Currently I prepare daily to compete in athletics.

All this corporal work has allowed me to know and re-know my body at a very deep level. Changing my diet for a vegan. Which started more than ten years ago. The experience as a yoga teacher and the sports experience are complemented to give the students quality in the trainings.

Beside this, my profession (Philosophy) allows me the facility to familiarize students with certain philosophical concepts of yoga, keys to proper practice and spiritual advancement.
