About
I have coaching softball/baseball combined for 12years in NYC.
My coaching style is from my high school coach which was master the fundamentals physically and learn the mental part of the sport as well.
I have been coaching mainly ages 10-21 years old ( jr high school- college level). But the part I love most is when get the chance to coach an inexperience young player and see them progress overtime and feel great while they see the improvement and build confidence. My specialties would be more on the defensive side, including footwork, proper mechanics in throwing and catching and building mentality boost for their confidence. I teach every position, so it wouldn't matter which you would prefer to learn.
I always start my sessions with conditioning, followed by skill development. each drill done will involve continuous conditioning and building reaction so the body will be ready to last any duration. At the end of my practice, I like my athlete to feel they got the most out of the practice and the confidence to be ready for competition.
The part I enjoy the most is when the player starts to improve in areas they were struggling at and get happy and build more confidence.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on distance, the amount of people being trained per session and length of session. I would discuss details with the client.

Ask there background, experience. See if they are asking questions, which would help them learn how they would train you. Ask about their specialties.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are you passionate about. Have an idea in the direction you would like to go so you can say it to the coach.
