Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We sit and discuss objective goals for you and how we can attain them. Next, we test the waters with a warmup and progress into a workout mainly centered around your capabilities. After becoming comfortable to the routines and progress tracking, we continue to analyse each week your progress and ways we can keep challenging your body.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.S. in Exercise Science. M.S. in Exercise Research. Personal training experience since 2010. NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Worked with many groups over the years, including athletic teams and special populations.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We offer various gym and coaching memberships, personal training packages, and commitment specials. Visit our website for pricing or get in touch for a custom quote.
How did you get started teaching?
I exercised to lose weight my Freshman year of High School. That goal set me on a journey of always striving to become my strongest self. After High School, I became certified, started in a commercial gym, and haven't looked back since!
What types of students have you worked with?
Athletes, general population, older population, special needs, post-rehabilitation, etc.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a coach that will listen and lead you to where you need to go. Have a coach that can teach you how to train properly and give you the confidence in your own abilities.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are your specific, objective goals?
How often are you willing to commit to training weekly?
What are your eating habits (What, when, how often)?
What are your limitations keeping you from reaching your goals?
Are you willing to objectively listen to your potential coach about stradegies for your goals?
