Checkmat Brentwood Jiu-Jitsu, founded in 2017, is an international martial arts academy based in Brentwood, California. The academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Kickboxing to children, teens, and adults, providing world-class instruction from World Champion Coaches and a Professional MMA Fighter. As an affiliate of Checkmat, established in 2008 by Master Vieira, the Brentwood academy is part of a global network extending to thirty-four American cities and sixteen countries worldwide. The team has won prestigious tournaments, but Checkmat's focus extends beyond trophies, aiming to inspire healthy and positive individuals and communities.
