I currently hold the rank of 6th degree black belt in Kempo, AS & BS degree in Exercise Science and Advanced Personal Training, current member of the Black Karate Federation, and guest self-defense instructor for the University of Southern California USC!
All Coaches are NASM licensed and certified.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1st we begin with a day of assessments- Goals, exercise history, health and readiness PARS questionnaire, nutrition, baseline assessments (over head squat, push-ups, sit-ups etc.)
After we establish a baseline we begin training with:
10min. Warm up- foam roll, active/dynamic stretching followed by a 10 min cardio session.
Next we move into stability/plyometrics to help establish good balance and neuromuscular coordination.
Drills: speed agility and quickness SAQ
Boxing drills 12 week periodized program broken up into 4 week increments: proper foot alignment/hand placement
How to throw a proper jab lft/rt
How to throw a 1-2 punch combo
How and when to use head movement
How, why, and when to use angles.
How to effectively use our Basic 8 defense.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently hold the distinguished rank of 6th degree Black belt in Kempo.
