Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The number one thing we do with a new student is evaluate. We want to know where people are so we don't train bullies and those who train are prepared to do so with their self improvement in mind. We would rather have less students and a higher rate of personal success than a lot of students and no real progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my training in 2005 alongside my father (5th Degree Master). Along with my training in Taekwondo I also studied other martial arts styles and basic military combat methods. I began teaching without supervision in 2009 and started my first group as head instructor with my master's passing in 2014.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Due to COVID-19 our pricing is currently in a state of flux. We offer a base price of $20 for private lessons and it usually goes up from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of students from those working with autism as well as those just coming out of the justice system. I pride myself with being able to work with anyone as long as the student is willing to improve themselves.
