About
With my extensive experience as a world-class sprinter, I've honed the most effective techniques, even through overcoming injuries. My athletic background includes club soccer, baseball, and a starting position as a shooting guard on my high school varsity basketball team. This diverse experience has given me a profound understanding of speed and its applications across various sports and positions.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of training gold medal-winning Olympians, professional fighters, and MLB players. My coaching methodology revolves around imparting athletes with invaluable knowledge through meticulously designed drills that emphasize body awareness, efficiency, power, stamina, and, of course, speed. This approach seamlessly complements existing training programs, providing immediate and noticeable results.
With over two decades of experience as a trainer and sports performance coach, I am genuinely passionate about nurturing young athletes to unlock their full potential both on and off the field.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After a 15-30 minute phone interview, we decide if my trianing would be a good fit. Our training is in a small group setting and affordable while specific to the athlete's needs and goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a world-class sprinter and trained with the world's best coaches. I have developed my own training system based on my own personal experience infused with the teachings I have gained throughout. I have created my own training system and authored a book called The Hart Method. I have trained professional baseball players, gold medal olympians, and numerous of amateur athletes to increase their physical output while decreasing their risk of injury by moving smarter, faster, and more powerful.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I believe in providing each athlete the opportunity to excel no matter their economic status or background. I charge $45 for each session. Each athlete has the choice to train once or twice a week depending on scheduling.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching after I failed to compete at the Olympics in 1996 due to physical trauma. I dedicated myself to helping athletes avoid setbacks while maximizing their potential. Sprinting gave me the understanding of how to move my body in the most optimum form.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of athletes of all sports. From the high school level to the professional and olympic level.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The Olympics of course!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advice every student to hire a teacher that has a deep understanding of physical movement. Understanding how to move one's body builds the foundation for the athlete's career. The goal is to maximize each athlete's potential while reducing the risk of setbacks due to injury.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Years of experience
2. Their specific experience related to the athlete's sport
3. Does the teacher have a deep knowledge of physical movement?
