Prisma Jiu-Jitsu, located in Morgan Hill, California, was founded in 2018 by Leandro Vieira, a fourth-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Beginning his practice in 1986, Vieira, along with his brothers, formed Checkmat, a top competition team in BJJ. Notably, his arrival in 2011 at the American Kickboxing Academy significantly improved the team's ground skills and grew Checkmat's presence in the Bay Area. Vieira's unique approach to BJJ, shaped by his MMA experience, has made a significant impact on his students and the AKA fight team. Prisma Jiu-Jitsu offers classes for kids, adults, and women.
