My passion is helping people to become better versions of themselves. I have a focus on individual health, team sports and overall wellness. My areas of focus are in yoga, martial arts and in volleyball for youth and adults.
I began coaching men’s and women’s volleyball in 1999. I played at the high school varsity, high school junior olympic level, college D-1 varsity hockey, and D-1 club volleyball. I am a Gold Medal Squared certified volleyball coach currently coaching with the Piedmont Middle School and Piedmont High School teams. I have also spent 19 years in the martial arts and have a black belt in kung fu having competed successfully in full contact sparring tournaments as well as performed successfully at various competitions. I also am a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. I am currently enrolled in a NASM certified personal trainer program to be completed in 2023.
In volleyball, I work with young volleyball players to develop are more competent, confident and knowledgeable athlete on and off the court. I work with my clients to strengthen the body, sharpen the skills and hone the knowledge necessary for success.
In martial artist I prative Kung Fu and teach all aspects of the practice, from individual forms, to self defense techniques and the philosophical underpinnings of the art that distinguish it from other forms of strength and conditioning and combat sports.
I am based in Piedmont, CA, living very near to Lake Merit. I have a car and am able to travel to you for personal training.
