Catherine Haut is a yoga instructor who specializes in 1:1 yoga.

With over a decade of dedicated practice and over five years as an instructor, Catherine has a rich academic, practical, and personal experience with yoga. Catherine is designated as a 500-HR Yoga Alliance instructor and has spent over 850 hours with private clients around the globe.

Catherine specializes in three areas of practice:

1. Accessible vinyasa: Catherine works with people at every stage of life. She has worked with children under 10, to clients in their late 80’s. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga with Catherine. She’ll teach you how to move in a sustainable, healthful, and joyful way.

2. Yoga for stress: If stress is interfering with your ability to sleep well or enjoy a balanced, connected life, Catherine can teach you how to use yoga to build stress resilience.

3. Yoga and meditation for sleep: Catherine teaches Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, two practices that give the body true, deep rest. By working with Catherine, clients who had suffered with insomnia for decades have restored their relationship with sleep. Using restorative practices, these clients accessed the vibrant, joyful versions of themselves that were waiting to come to life!

    Catherine is an incredibly kind, warm, nurturing, and inviting person. I worked with her 1:1 doing Restorative yoga, and also attended her yoga retreat in Costa Rica.
    My experience in our restorative session was wonderful - Catherine clearly put a lot of time and thought into how she could make the session as relaxing and effective as possible. Her warmth and kindness while walking me through each of the restorative poses was incredible, especially since I had never done that type of practice before. The session was structured 100% around my body / what was needing the most relaxation and release, which I appreciated so much.
    My experience with Catherine on her yoga retreat was very similar, just over a whole week! She planned the week perfectly and I left feeling more connected to my yoga practice than I ever had before. The highlight for me was the wide range of different yoga practices Catherine led us through, which included Yoga Nidra and a sensory yoga practice with chocolate!
    I truly cant say enough about Catherine as a yoga teacher (and person) - I know Ill be working with her more in the future!

    Cat is an amazing yoga instructor. She takes into account what your body needs each session and tailors the class to you. She incorporates a lot of mindfulness and meditation and I always leave our sessions feeling at peace and with much less pain in my body. I really value our sessions and am so grateful to have them.

    I am an aging man who has had an active and sporty lifestyle. Over the years I have encountered injuries that were chronic and physical therapy never seemed to help.
    Catherine has helped me find balance and ease in my body through her deep understanding of body mechanics. She is the most perceptive yoga instructor I have ever experienced.     I had the pleasure of working with Catherine both online and in person for 1 on 1 yoga sessions.
    I reached out to Catherine for help with some intense lower back pain. The back pain was persistent and felt like a hinderance to my typically active day-to-day life. What I loved most about working with Catherine was that she took the time to not only listen to the problem, but she took the time to understand my lifestyle which played a huge role in how she structured our time together.
    She understood that I was an active person who loved to surf regularly, but that I also sat at a desk for long workdays. She also knew I was someone who wasn’t committed to spending an hour on my yoga mat every single day either.
    She tailored the yoga to help address the back pain I was experiencing, while also giving me posture adjustments or simple stretches that were easy to incorporate into my daily routine. I was able to effectively relieve pain by adding in 5-minute stretches while sitting and working. I also had many frustrating breaks from surfing due to my back pain, but Catherine was able to help me get back into the water quickly.
    The work we did together also focused on enhancing my mobility. We focused on hip opening movements that allowed me to open up before going out to surf and this helped me immensely.
    I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with Catherine. I highly recommend working with Catherine. She is an incredible, kind, caring, dedicated, and talented teacher.

    Catherine has helped me transform my sleep by introducing me to Yoga Nidra and helping me plan my bedtime routine.
    I used to feel anxious at bedtime because I knew my mind would race before I could actually fall asleep.
    Now I fall asleep within minutes and feel so well rested in the morning.
    I’m no longer snoozing my alarm or rushing in the morning!
    I wake up and have time to make breakfast, really put myself together, and some “me time” before my busy day.
    Now I have the energy to I enjoy the day. I really love my work so feeling like I’m able to now put my best foot forward is really life changing.
