What is your typical process for working with a new student?

To start first lesson with a discussion 10 minutes or so.  This way we can get to know one another and move forward as to what best fits each individual needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I work in healthcare and have my entire professional career.  Also have been practicing yoga since I was a child, and have recieved numerous trainings/workshops/and expertise help from other intructors across the globe.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Depends on length of class, in person/online/over phone.  Work with each person to help get them what they need - to practice.  Love wha tI do and willing to work with individuals to fit schedules and pocket best available!

How did you get started teaching?

I actually started teaching by pure accident.  One day due to bad weather my teacher was late to class (it happens we are only human!).  I was asked to step in and help out, from there I fell in love, and have been ever since!

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with all ranges of students from first time novices to those who have been practicing even longer than I!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Recent event is integrating candlelight and live acoustic guitar to a Hot Yoga class.  Never in my life in all over the world I have seen this.  Very excited to have this opportunity and work with the best yoga studio ever - Ra Yoga!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Take a moment to do like a meet and greet over phone.  See if your personalities and path are aligned.  You will lvoe learning more from an instructor that you likes and a true bond with!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Type of yoga/meditation would like to explore?

What are your personal physical abilities, likes, and dislikes?

Always ask questions!  That is how we learn, and grow as a person and a yogi:)
