About

You should hire me because I offer over 20 years of real-world experience in martial arts, competition, and coaching—combined with the ability to teach efficiently for people who don’t have time to waste. As a black belt in both Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a national champion, and a lifelong competitor, I bring proven, high-level knowledge to every session.

I specialize in working with busy professionals, fathers, students, and beginners who want private, focused instruction instead of crowded classes. Whether your goal is self-defense, competition, confidence, or fitness, I tailor every lesson to you.

I’ve spent the last 10 years coaching, competing, and building programs while working full-time, so I understand how to maximize progress in limited time. My goal is simple: help you become more confident, capable, and prepared—on and off the mat.

    Frequently asked questions

I start by understanding each student’s goals, experience level, and any strengths or limitations. From there, I build a structured plan tailored to them. Each session focuses on clear instruction, practical application, and consistent progress. As we go, I adjust the training to make sure they’re improving, staying challenged, and getting real results.
My background comes from years of hands-on experience in training, coaching, and leadership. I’ve developed my skills through high-level Jiu-Jitsu competition, earning my black belt, and years of teaching others. I also bring leadership experience from the United States Marine Corps, which shaped my discipline, structure, and ability to coach people effectively at all levels.
Yes, I offer structured pricing. My standard rate is $125 per session, with discounted packages available for clients who commit to multiple sessions. I also offer premium time slots at a slightly higher rate depending on availability. * $125 per session (standard rate) * $100 per session (package rate – e.g., 5+ sessions)
When I was younger, I used to teach friends who played different sports. As I got older, I realized I had a natural ability for leading and teaching. That strength carried over into the United States Marine Corps, and now I continue to use it by teaching people professionally.
I’ve worked with a wide range of students—from beginners just getting started to experienced athletes looking to sharpen their performance. My background in coaching, leadership, and professional instruction allows me to adapt to each individual’s goals and help them progress efficiently.
A recent milestone I’m especially proud of is earning my Jiu-Jitsu black belt and winning a championship. Being able to share that moment with my father before he passed made it even more meaningful and is something I carry with me every day.
Choosing someone who is accessible, confident, and easy to connect with is often more valuable than picking a world champion. With the right coach, you’re more likely to take consistent lessons, improve steadily, and enjoy the process. This kind of connection helps you build a clear, trackable journey of growth over time.
Students should think about their goals, current skill level, and what they want to improve. It also helps to consider how often they can train and what kind of coaching style keeps them motivated and consistent.
