About
I've studied Krav Maga for 10+ years. I am certified by Krav Maga Alliance to teach Krav Maga.
I've also studied BJJ from some of the best practitioners in the world (to include Rickson Gracie).
Furthermore, I've studied Japanese JJ and Karate in Okinawa.
Lastly, I studied Muay Thai in Thailand (and in DC).
I am lifelong learner of martial arts and I look forward to teaching the theories I've learned.
I've also fought in a several MMA fights.
I love Krav Maga. After many years of study, I've found Krav Maga to be the most effective martial art. To truly be great at Krav Maga, you have to master many martial arts.
Krav Maga uses theories from many different martial arts (boxing, wrestling, BJJ, Kali, karate, judo etc.) that haven proven to work in real-life and battlefield situations.
And if Krav Maga isn't your cup of tea, you'll get to experience many different martial arts at once and find which martial art you enjoy.
Finally, their is no better workout - Krav Maga will give you a six pack/a bikini ready body.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to assess first their fitness level. Krav Maga requires its practioners to be fit. To be sucessful in a fight, you must have knowledge, endurance and strength. No matter where a person is physically, I can get them past their plateau.
After assessing fitness, we practice real-world sitatuions (bear hug from front, head lock, full-nelson, attacker with handgun in front, back, etc.) and how to escape, evade, and use combants to neutralize threats (Krav Maga has a 'thump 'em and dump 'em' mentality). Krav Maga is superior to other martial arts as we analyze our surroundings to gain leverage.
We also have scenarios where we practice fighting multiple attackers.
As you progress in Krav Maga, you will learn boxing, wrestling, judo, bjj, karate, muay thai and military combatives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Krav Maga Alliance Certified Instructor
Krav Maga Brown Belt, BJJ Blue belt, Muay Thai Green Belt, and Hawaiian Kempo Purple Belt.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
First lesson is $50 dollars for a 45 min session
Each lesson after that will be $60 for an hour lesson.
Please bring gloves, mitts, mouthguard, head gear (I have any extra head gear if necessary), shin pads and if you are a male WEAR A CUP (Krav Maga is a martial arts theory that works on proven battefield tatics - we have many ways of hurting the groin).
