About
Experience, strength, and hope guide the way for me to offer wonderful opportunities to get in tune with yourself, calm the body and mind, care for and love yourself. I offer hatha based yoga for all levels, focusing on the energetic body as well as the physical being.
I have been practicing for many, many years, and in searching for my purpose, I was led into teaching. I have seen many miracles in my life, that is how I know, that anyone can change their mind, body, and emotions. I have personally transformed my own life, physically and spiritually, and love to open minds to inner connection and self-study.
I have experience in teaching classes based on pure physicality, like power yoga and hot yoga. But, if I'm honest if feel I offer more when I acknowledge gratitude, self-affirming thoughts, chakras, self-care, and positivity. We can do this, AND build some heat AND gain strength! I always include a short meditation, and pranayama(breath work). I love to teach breathing techniques that you can take home with you and use in stressful situations. Game changer.
I am YTT200 certified, and accredited through yoga alliance.
I am also a Certified Personal Trainer, and offer my students who want a bit more intensity, personal training time, not in a gym but in the privacy of your home or yard.

I firmly believe I am here to help people. This gift of yoga can be transformative, and I love to see it! I live for the stories my students tell me of how they remained calm off the mat in situations that would usually arouse fear and anxiety. I live for the new pants size stories, as well as the stories that sometimes mean crying on the mat and letting it all out! Life is so beautiful and tumultuous, and I'm here to remind you that the weather always gets good again and to hang on tight.
I've to see the light in others shine as brightly as possible.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will first have a chat. I'd love to how you are feeling feeling and what brought you to me, besides divine intervention ;) it's up to you what you want to share or work on. Next, we'll do a practice with your heart in mind. The total time of the practice is up to you. I know it can he hard to commit to one hour if you are new, it's okay, we can work up to it, or not.
After, we check in again. You notice the changes in how you are feeling. What you'll do next, at that time we'll make some goals for you. I'd like to go over diet quickly. I'm not a nutritionist, I am capable of giving a general direction for healthy eating to the average individual, with no preexisting conditions. Or not. Again, all up to you. This is in order the help you feel your best on and off the mat, and start patterning a healthy lifestyle.
You will glow, I promise!
