About

Power Moves Yoga is a power yoga studio & yoga school. My husband and I opened in 2106 with a mission to provide a quality yoga experience in a welcoming environment of peaceful, organic growth and to raise the vibrations of wellness in all aspects of life through yoga, meditation, and community engagement.

Our studio is a welcoming space with a variety of styles of yoga including cool and heated classes. We offer over 30 classes a week and work with a variety of fitness levels.

The studio is spacious with high quality equipment and premium furnishings. We promise a tranquil and positive experience every time. Instructors at our facility are highly qualified and offer a consistent quality across the team. Power Moves Yoga is a home to many instructors as a place to continously grow and evolve in the industry.

Frequently asked questions

As an educational experience, we offer a free week of unlimited yoga to anyone new to our facility.  We encourage you to try a variety of classes to get a feel for what type of yoga is best for you and how would a regular practice fit into your schedule.

My husband Andrew and I own the studio together.  We are certified to teach others how to become an instructor at a 500 hour level.  We are registered by the governing body of yoga called Yoga Alliance.  All of our instructors have a 200 hour certification or higher.

After the week trial of yoga there are several options to continue your practice.

A drop in is $20.  This is a great option if your schedule varies or you are using yoga to compliment other activities.

We also have a class pack for $160.  A class pack does not expire so you can use it at your leisure.

The unlimited monthly membership is $109.  The membership is most economical if you are consistent in your practice twice a week or more.

My husband and I have been working in the fitness industry for many years.  We found that yoga was the best practice because it brings in mindfulness and purpose to a workout.  He is originally from the tri-cities so we decided to settle down in a home in Batavia and share our passion for overall wellness with the community.
