Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Identifying what are the needs of each individual and tailoring the exercise programs according to their satisfaction. The ultimate goal is for my students is to have fun, improve their self-confidence, have a sense of self-defense, achieve a healthier lifestyle, as well as improve their other sports activities as Boxing, Kickboxing, and Martial Arts will improve Football, Basketball, Hockey and many other physical athletics.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a former Professional Boxer with a 8-2-1 record. Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each pricing is tailered to the program the needs of the individual.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels and types of individuals. I have no limitations.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am helping improve one of my students, neurological dillemmas as he has Parkinson and Alzeimers as Boxing activity is helping with his coordination, stability, and reflexes.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be extremely careful. Do you research. I see many younger individuals with absolutely zero professional experience and with only a few classes of training. They have zero experience as an athlete and physically have not endured what it takes to become a professional athlete, not only physically, but mental and spiritually. Avoid gimmics, like Champion of all Asia. Look at there records. Who have they fought? What was the records of their opponents? Look for integrity, character, and passion.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Honesty is the key. I have seen many trainers sugar coat only to make money for themselves, but only hurt their clients in the long run. Some questions to ask are as followed: How long will it take to achieve my goal? What will it take to achieve my goal?
