I have been teaching for the last 17 years. I currently teach street dance and vinyasa yoga. I specialize in beginner levels, all ages. I also provide additional support for my students through weekly newsletters geared towards the student's interests.
I have always had a strong desire to help people reach their potential and be a part of their growth through movement.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students will be asked some questions to assess their needs and their desired goals.
Once I have assessed the student, I use a curriculum tailor made for the student. I work intuitively, and will always work at the student's pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have almost 20 years of teaching experience and I am certified to teach vinyasa yoga. I am also a certified reiki practitioner.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching when I was still in high school, and I was mentored by my dance teacher who also owned a dance studio. I've had several teaching mentors throughout my career, and I am always continuing my education via teacher workshops, festivals and classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have experience with students ages 2 all the way to adult. I work with all levels, but I specialize in beginner level students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that will work with you to help you acquire the skills necessary to develop your own practice and become independent.
