About
Yoga has been an integral part of my life for over 7 years. My degree in Clinical Nutrition and certification in wellness complements her yoga practice and instruction. I view yoga as a holistic approach to health and wellness for adults and children.
I completed my 200 hour Yoga and Wellness Training with Breathe for Change and my certification for Children through Childlight Yoga. Additionally I've completed training and hold certifications in Yoga for Athletes, Yoga for Injury Prevention and Recovery, Reiki, and Thai Massage & Reflexology. Recently, I have become a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
I am a wellness champion in my community. I provide wellness professional development for teachers, coordinates wellness events, and monitors wellness projects for teachers and schools.
I also enjoy sharing yoga with children and teens. As an educator for over 20 years, I have integrated my knowledge of social emotional wellness and education to provide yoga instruction and therapy for youth. My yoga classes are based on the needs of my clients and are fun, interactive, and inspirational. Seeking to help others thrive by nurturing body, mind, and soul through yoga continues to be my purpose and ultimate goal.
