About
After a stressful and exhausting work day, I entered a yoga studio in Washington DC for my first time in September 2007. The next day I went back, and again the next day...and again...and again...okay you catch my drift!
One class at a time, one day at a time, yoga became a part of my everyday life and completely changed me both mentally and physically! I have learned to deal with life and changes in a much more open way, and of course have also become much more flexible over the years.
In 2015 after much inward reflection and the realization that I want to pass this passion on to others, I pursued a 200-hour teacher training, yoga retreats, alignment classes, assisting classes, and many more continuing education classes in the interim. I currently work with clients on a one-on-one basis, couples, or a private group, and in a yoga studio enviroment.
Please feel free to contact me with any quesitons, and I look forward to working with you!
I love teaching people the power of yoga 🧘🏻♀️ & what it can do for them! There’s nothing like making that connection between mind & body & bringing constant awareness into your life, not to mention build strength & tone your muscles!

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching by practicing. Only after I understood yoga in a deep way, did I feel ready to give back! I worked with my friends at home, met groups at parks, did private lessons, and taught at a yoga studio. I still do all of these to become a better teacher and give back to the community.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students, from young beginners, to badly injured clients that required special attention. I cater to anyone as I feel you have to start somewhere! IF not now, then when?

- what do you know about yoga?
