What is your typical process for working with a new student?
i start out talking & finding out what they may be looking for & help them choose the art that may be the best fit
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
i have been traing in many martial arts for over fifty years & teach all the chen pan ling arts
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
imostly do private lessons & small group or famlies private lesson currently for 1 hour is $30 dollars & for familes $45 for an hour
How did you get started teaching?
iwas scared of the dark when i was very small & always wanted to learn & it became my passion
What types of students have you worked with?
all types from 5-85 & men/women/children & also with challenged people from deaf /& autistic to behaviorally challenge &cancer patients /stroke victims /add & lots of folks
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
every class im fond of as a student learns & gains confidence & balance & flexibility & so much more
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
most teachers i find are not deeply trained & seem more about large enrollments & my goal is to really help with our beautiful arts & yes ,make a living ofcourse
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
what times are classes & the programs avaliable & fees & the teachers training & knowlegde & tour the school & see if they get a good feeling of the teacher & training area
