Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a 2 week trial of classes at a discounted rate to make sure the student likes the classes and wants to continue. Write or call to set up a time to get started.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a long-time martial arts student and I continue to train to this day. I also have a lot of real-world experience through my 9 years of work as a police officer. I know what works and what doesn't.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our Introduction Course (2-weeks of classes) is $49.. If the student signs up for regular classes after that, they recieve a free Karate uniform. Monthly tuition rates at 603 Karate start at $135 per month. There are several pricing options you can choose from.
What types of students have you worked with?
All skill levels have found success at 603 Karate. We have students that have started training with us who had years of experience, but the majority of students come to the dojo with no experience at all. You will feel welcomed from day 1. All you need to bring is a good attitude and a willingness to learn and work hard!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet the teacher and make sure they are a good fit for you. Someone may have all the talent in the world, but they won't be able to communicate with you effectively.
