I offer individualized yoga instruction in my own home featuring a unique blend of physical postures, breathing exercises, and short meditations with an emphasis on mindfulness and breath/body awareness throughout the practice.
I have been practicing yoga of many different styles since 2010, and took my first meditation course during college in 2012. After graduating, I traveled around India for a while and decided to take a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training just to deepen my own practice, but now that I have experienced the benefits of yoga in my own life I feel compelled to use my certification and share what I've learned with others so they can also enjoy the many benefits of yoga.
I love the experience of sharing my passion for yoga and meditation with others who can benefit from it. Yoga has had such an enormous impact on my own life and I am so grateful for it, now it is my turn to pay it forward.

I like to first ask what kind of experience, if any, a new student has with practicing yoga or meditation, and what their goals or intentions are for wanting to start working with me. I also ask about any pain or injuries that a new student may be dealing with, or any areas they would like to work on. I use all of this information to craft a yoga class specific to the student's needs and goals, then guide the student through that class one-on-one to ensure proper understanding and alignment.
I have a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training from Rishikesh, India, as well as a semester-long meditation course at the University of Florida, a 10-day silent Buddhist meditation retreat, and an online certification in Mindfulness Fundamentals from Mindful Schools.
I ask $20/hr of individual instruction, which includes the pre-planning of your individualized lesson.
