About
Hello,
My name is Janice Manzi and I am a RYT 200Hr Yoga Teacher. I teach hatha flow, restorative, vinyasa, yin yoga, chair yoga classes at several locations around Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. I like to teach a well rounded class with breathwork, poses, and meditation. I teach at several yoga studios, Chair Yoga to Senior Citizens at several Senior Centers around the Southern NH area and volunteer teaching yoga to special needs students at a local high school. It makes my day after a lesson to hear a student say "I feel so good!" I always suggest to students to try Yoga for 6 weeks then tell me how you feel. I love what I do and am thankful for doing it! I love to learn new techniques and creative yoga sequences taking yoga workshops whenever I can! You can visit my website at:

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would ask the student if they are new to yoga?
Do they have any past or present injuries?
Are they looking for day or evening classes?
What type of yoga class are they looking for? More physical or less physical? More relaxing etc....
How often would they like to practice yoga?
Do you want to travel or have someone come to your house?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since receiving my RYT200 I have completed several yoga workshops to keep up my education from Yoga Nidra to Handstand workshops several times a year. I am a registered member of Yoga Alliance.

I have worked with beginner students, limited students, special needs, and seniors.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my senior students told me she had to call an ambulance because she was not feeling well and the ambulance technician was telling her to breathe, calm down...after a few minutes she said she started to focus on her breathing she had learned in yoga class with me. The technician commented on how well she was doing with her breathing and her blood pressure came down to normal. She couldnt wait to come in the next week and tell us in class!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would just tell them to look for someone that is willing to teach them what they would like to learn about yoga. Its the students practice. The teacher is there to teach!
