About this pro

What makes me stand out from other instructors/coaches is the attention to  details I provide in my instruction. I pride myself on being very patient and detail oriented in techniques that I teach. I make sure every student goes home with a clear understanding of what they've learned and how to apply it on the mats.

I deeply enjoy the fact that I get to do what I love and that's teach Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.

Coach Brian is very friendly and he'll be glad to help you with anything you're struggling with in BJJ. I had one lesson with him so far and I liked it so much to the point where I want to keep coming back for more. Definitely schedule a private with him if you're in NY.

As an athlete he has an impressive record, he is very knowledgeable in jiu jitsu & self defense. As a teacher he is patient and competent in a way to make sure you learn, understand and grow. I highly recommend him ! I'd go train , and take classes with him at any dojo or gym he is teaching at.

Everyone is extremely nice and patient with me. Everyone from the instructors to the more experienced white belts are there to help me through moves and roll with me at a pace that works for me. It’s a very supportive community and I felt right at home from day one.

How did you get started teaching?

I got started teaching in my early blue belt stage in bjj with kids classes. Then I started getting calls from friends about teaching them to get ready for MMA fights. After that I went and got Certified as a personal trainer and continued my own self training to better my understanding of the art to improve my teaching abilities.  People then started to approach me seeking to get better at Jiu-jitsu and I began doing private lessons.

Kids and adults of all ages. If your willing to learn I'm more than happy to teach you.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Getting my Bronze medal at the World Jiu-jitsu Championships was a great feat.  But promoting my students takes the cake for me as a major achievement.
