Marina Sky Yoga
About
Hello all!
🙌Important note: I live in EDGEWATER NJ, and offer private or group classes near me. If you are more that 5 miles away I could only offer you an ONLINE yoga class.
I teach Hatha yoga. I prefer offering less flow (cardio) and more static asanas (poses) throughout the class.
Props are highly encouraged in my classes. (yoga blocks, yoga strap, yoga blanket and/or bolster). However if you don't have any we can still manage a class without the props. Investing in props though will benefit you greatly.
I also offer Chair Yoga to seniors, people with minor disabilities as well as office folks.
Weather a lunch break Chair Yoga or a full Chair Yoga class - I got your back.
I am available to teach via Zoom and pretty flexible with online class schedule.
Even one class a week will make a difference in your wellbeing. Lets meet!

I have been practicing yoga for over a decade .
I realized the benefits of yoga practice and made it my mission to teach it to others!
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with students who are beginners or regular practitioners. I would say Level 0, 1 and 2.
When Level 0 is being a complete beginner, Level 1 is an advanced beginner and Level 2 is someone who has a reg fitness and/or yoga practice .
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I loved representing The Bhakti Center at the UN for the International Yoga Day in June 2019.
I offer YOGA IN THE PARK in the area where I live every Wednesday at 6 AM. Practicing outdoors allows us to connect with nature and benefit from yoga simultaneously! What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is important for the student and teacher to match in their expectations and regards. For example one student might appreciate a spiritual touch while the other may prefer just the physical aspect of yoga.
Take a class and feel the vibe.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
“What am I looking to get out of this class?”
