About
My name is Irina Smirnova. I live in NYC for about 18 years, but originally from St.Petersburg Russia.
I've been practicing Qi-Yo Yoga and teaching it for almost 4 years. I really admire Qi-Yo yoga system and would like genuinely to share my knowledge, techniques, methods.
Qi-Yo yoga is a unique and unified system that combines elements of Qi-Gong, Taichi, Martial arts, Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation, Relaxation and Sound healing.
Qi Yo can help you explore your potential, release stress, and gain flexibility in every sense. It can also help unblock energy channels in order to promote deep healing.
Opening up to unimagined possibilities, you are able to perceive yourself and the world with new eyes.
I really enjoy introduce people to someting unique and inspiring especially if it touches their heart and help them to transform their soul, spirit, mind and body.
I also enjoy when people have a chance to immediate positive changes in their personal, social and professional life. Qi-Yo brings such a wonderful uplift and energetical boost into every person's life.

What are his/her short and long-term goals in terms of yoga and physical activities in general. What does he/she would like to achieve in a class.
Then I just go through a general agenda of Qi-Yo yoga, introducing students to
QiYo Warm Up
Qi Yo Core
Asanas
Pranayama
Meditation
Relaxation
Some healing techniques that might be so helpful and beneficial in terms of spiritual develpment, body alignment and energetical uplift.
By the end of each lesson I alsways check the student's spiritual/mental/physical condition and support his/her relaxation or recovery process.
