Hallie comes from a Dance, Yoga, and Tae Kwon Do background. The exploration of how the human body uses both mobility and stability to move efficiently, and safely, has always been her focus of study.
Before working as a Personal Trainer, Hallie was teaching group yoga classes and private yoga sessions throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. She received her 200-RYT Yoga Certification in 2013.
Hallie transitioned into Personal Training because she loved the idea of incorporating functional movement and resistance training into a full body practice. She has a holistic approach to fitness and believes that diversity through movement makes the body stronger.
Hallie specializes in Functional Movement, Mobility Training, Bodyweight Resistance Training, Kettlebell Athletics, Regenerative Practices, and Yoga. She is a Tier 3 level trainer at Equinox and also has certifications in Pre and Post Natal Training, Kettlebell Athletics, ViPR Training, and Animal Flow.
Some of Hallie's favorite exercises and movements include kettle bell swings, handstand progressions, and pigeon pose.
