I love teaching. I LOVE giving people the best hour of thier day. Finding yoga and fitness changed my life and I hope to be able to help others find that same path. I use effective and fun workouts or yoga sequencing, optional tracking and accountability and of course some great music along the way to help my clients find what inspires and moves them. By working with other health and wellness professionals in the area I can offer the connections to nutritionists, naturopathic wellness and other therapies to complement your training with me and Fit Flow Wellness.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always offer a free consultation to see if a prospective client and I are a good match! I like to meet with new clients and chat about their past and present fitness routines, restrictions or injuries and their goals moving forward. If it's a good match we'll schedule the first session!
In our first session I run some basic testing and evaluations. In this stage I'll look at mobility, range of motion, body awareness, cardio abilities and restrictions and put the client through a short workout to evaluate strength focused movements. We then come up with a plan and schedule to get them started on their fitness path.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified personal trainer through NCCPT, a Group Fitness instructor through AFAA and a 200 hr Registered Yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing depends on the training facility used ( I have access to 2 in South Jersey and one in Philadelphia, as well as a private studio in my home) the length of session, and the amount of sessions purchased. My rates are very competive with other area professionals and I discount my session fee for packages.
I currently offer sessions as follows:
Single sessions (most expensive option)
5 pack (6 week expiration)
10 pack (3 month Expiration
20 pack (6 month expiration AND Cheapest option per session)
In addition, I offer virtual training. I send clients video programming for them to do at home (using minimal to no equipment) or at the facility of their choice. This is offered on it's own OR as an option for clients when traveling.
I ALSO offer a discount for couples or partner workouts! Sometimes having a workout buddy is a GREAT way to motivate you! Ask me about my partner pricing!!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching kickboxing through an international kickboxing chain. I then started to work behind the scenes managing 2 high end Crossfit and HIIT gyms in Manhattan. After realizing that my place is on the HIIT floor instead of behind a desk, I began shadowing teachers and then jumped into teaching classes and private clients full-time. After teaching in multiple spaces in NYC I started to commute between Brooklyn and Philadelphia to teach HIIT and Yoga in Graduate Hospital (I still coach there!). I am currently a performer at LifeTime Fitness in Mt Laurel and a coach at OpenBox Athletics in Philadelphia.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and abilities in both group and individual formats. As a Crossfit Kids coach I worked with kids from age 5-15 in functional movement and sports agility training. From chair yoga for seniors to high level HIIT training, my individualized approach and education make me able to cater training sessions to specific clients regardless of age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I moved!! I relocated back to South Jersey after 5 years in New York City. A BIG step for me, I'm loving being back home. NYC was a great place to hone my craft and really immerse myself in fitness culture. I hope to bring the energy of NYC and things I've learned to the more down-to-earth community of the Philadelphia and South Jersey area.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Give it a shot! Nothing can change or happen if you don't take the fist step. Whoever you hire, make sure you ask questions. Learn about their education, their experience, ask for references. There are plenty of trainers out there that don't give their schedule. Look for someone who shows you thier heart and who you feel like you connect with. A personal trainer is more than just someone to make you exercise, they are a coach and an ally in your road to good health and fitness. Also... remember that paying a trainer is in investment in yourself and your future, not a frivolous purchase.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
FIRST AND FOREMOST... am I physically able to begin a workout program? (If you have injuries have you been cleared by a Dr or Physical Therapist?)
What are my long term goals?
What are my Short term goals?
What level of commitment am I truly willing to give to my fitness?
Is my schedule flexible or do I want a set day and time every week?
