About
My name is Liubov Kholov. I've been teaching yoga in New York since 2011. Currently, I teach Antistress Yoga via Zoom.
I was an office worker from the age of 21 (marketing field) and later a co-founder of a successful advertising agency in New York. Now I'm 37. So, I know what kind of mind and body challenges we are facing after a long day at work. Yoga helps me to relax and experience a peaceful state of mind. Hopefully, it can help you too.
I love yoga and I’m confident it can transform lives in very positive ways! First of all, it helps our body and mind to come down and activate our parasympathetic nervous system. And this effect can then bring many gifts to our lives. It is much better to move through the day in a calm balanced state than have our “fight or flight” response constantly turned on. Well, don’t just believe me, try it!
I have 500 Yoga Alliance Certification from Three Sisters Yoga.
On my Instagram account, you can watch videos from my Zoom classes.

Here is what the participants of my Yoga for Office Workers via Zoom are saying:
👌My lower back pain is much better. I can sit straight now.
👌I feel like someone just added butter into my joints.
👌I didn’t even know I had tension in my shoulders till you said “relax your shoulders” and I noticed how they just let go.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer new students a questionnaire where I ask them to mention if they have any yoga experience, if they have any injuries and why they want to practice yoga. At the beginning during the classes, I demonstrate the poses more, and once the students are more comfortable with the whole process, I give verbal instructions to gently guide them out of stress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 500 yoga teacher certificate from Three Sisters Yoga.
I received my 200 yoga teacher certificate in 2011 and my 300-hour certificate in 2020.
I have studied Yoga Anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff on an ongoing basis since 2012.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I offer private 1-hour yoga lessons online.
– First-class for new students – FREE
– Single class – $65
– 5 classes package, 10% off – $292
– 10 classes package, 20% off – $520
If you'd like to book a semi-private lesson with friends, you can (up to 3 people). The pricing per class and per package will be the same as above.
How did you get started teaching?
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Voronezh State University in Russia in 2005 and moved to New York City to work in the marketing field. Soon, I felt really overwhelmed by the events in my life and the demanding job I had. And then, I met a yoga teacher from Uzbekistan. Her classes changed my life. Sorry, it sounds cliche, but I don't know how else to say it. Yoga became the support I so needed.
That's how I decided I wanted to become a yoga teacher and went to study yoga with Three Sisters Yoga.
I received my first 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate in December of 2011. And in January of 2012, I began teaching in two studios in Brooklyn, NY. In about six months, people started asking me to become their private yoga instructor. So, I did. Later I quit my office job and focused on teaching yoga.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students who have a lot of stress in their lives and, as a result, they feel massive tension in their bodies and minds. Yoga helps them to relax and live a more balanced life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There are a lot of yoga styles. Some are more physical; others are esoteric. Some are psychological, and others are somewhat in the middle. The best way to understand if a teacher's approach resonates with you is to try their class, in my opinion.
