About
The Academy of European Arms, founded in 2012 and located in Portland, Oregon, is devoted to the preservation and advancement of Celtic and European Medieval Self Defense. With a curriculum based on Sir Ronald's 28 years of experience in medieval combat, students learn to use a variety of weapons and techniques, both armored and unarmored. The academy's comprehensive approach aims to equip students with a full understanding of each weapon system and its application to modern self-defense. The Academy of European Arms promotes historical Western martial arts as a viable alternative to Asian Martial Arts.
