I am a certified boxing fitness instructor through the boxing institute. I learned boxing as a kid boxed through my high school years. I was a sparing partner for Kennedy McKinney. He was the Gold medal winner in the 1988 olympics. He became champ of the world in 1991. We teach the art of boxing. It is a skilled class in which you learn how to punch correctly and move your head correctly. The class consist of agility drills combined with, jumping rope, shadow boxing, ab work, running, pushups and many more exercises. This is the best form of cardio around!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am available Monday through Friday from 6am to 4pm. I’m also open after 7pm and Saturday mornings after 11am. I like to schedule blocks of 5 in lessons. The 1st lesson is just to see where his or her fitness level is. I start with basic fundamentals and progress from there with each lesson.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I boxed as an amateur in high school. I am a certified boxing fitness instructor through the boxing institute.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically schedule 1 hour lessons in blocks of 5. But I will give single lessons at a higher rate.
My hourly rate is $80.00 an hour when scheduling 5 lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I’ve always given private lessons since I was in my twenties. But then I started giving do group sessions 10 years ago.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with professional athletes as well as stay at home moms, kids, policeman, nurses, business executives and business owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was involved in the biggest looser contest here in Memphis 5 years ago. The contestants had to go through my class for 6wks.
