Coach Kevin is a former NFL player with a passion for helping athletes & others achieve their maximum abilities. Coach Kevin ran the fastest 40 yard dash time at the National Football League (NFL) Combine in 2003 (4.31seconds); he was then selected by the St. Louis Rams in the 5th round (#172 overall). He spent three seasons in the NFL with the Rams, Houston Texans, and Carolina Panthers. The Panthers signed and allocated Garrett to NFL Europa, where he played and was a full-time starter for the Amsterdam Admirals. Garrett finished up his professional playing career in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for two seasons. He saw action with the Calgary Stampedersand Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Coach Kevin also possesses world class speed with personal best times of 10.09 seconds in the 100m & 20.72 in the 200m.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A client will began with a dynamic warmup. We will then go through a teach/drill session for that day's lesson. Depending on the desired goal, we will go through a relevant workout to improve the athlete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?
I've always had the love for sports. My dedication and love ran so deep, it allowed me to become a professional athlete. Now that I'm retired, I enjoy helping others reach their maximum potential.

I've worked with all types of athletes and enjoy watching them all be succesful at their sports.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the coach/trainer/teacher you're looking for has knowledge and experience in the area you are seeking help.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have a goal in mind on what you want to accomplish. This way, an action-oriented plan can be put in place to achieve your goal!
