Anyone can find a decent way to make an athlete sweat and get stronger. Figuring out what is inhibiting an athlete's optimal performance and delivering an impactful solution requires a multitude of hands on experience and research. That's where I come in. I don't just train what is popular, I correct bad mechanics, establish good ones, and help athletes build their "it factor" which they all have knowingly or not!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am always going to evaluate my clients strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, body composition, and agility. Once I have all of this data gathered I begin to establish starting points and setting goals for my client to accomplish in a certain amount of time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been certified many times in my 16 year fitness career. Most of the certs were for personal trainer, group instructor, and nutritional coaching. Before pursuing a career in fitness I was an athlete training to be the best at football, basketball, & track! I fell in love with the process of training and how rewarding it is to help someone else conquer their goals. I have done the hard work in and out of the gym, and also in the kitchen. At one point in my career I decided to extend my knowledge by going back to college to become a physical therapy assistant. During this time I was thoroughly educated about the human body. I apply the education from my certifications and college courses to better help my clients achieve their goals. I worked over a year for a very high in demand bootcamp gym where I spent 14 hr days training multiple groups of people from all walks of life, some obese, others advanced fit, some kids, and some seniors. A lot of hands on experience was achieved during this time. It thought me to be a true leader and become great with my craft. I never stop learning. I learn by talking to other successful people and I am always researching new information to help my clients.
